Christmas

Oh the joys of Christmas! It is wonderful watching my grandchildren open presents. Here are just a few that I would like to share. Dillin couldn't be with us. He had to work. We were not able to have Christmas until the 28th, because Daddy was in the hospital.

Kristen & Family Christmas Pictures

Okay, just so you will know all their names. Rusty, Kristen, Dillin, Desirae, Karlee, Austin & Adisyn. I now have seven grandchildren instead of 5. Man, my family has really expanded. I know there are several of Adisyn, but this is the first time she has ever had a professional picture taken. She is the only one who had an individual picture done. She is so cute and all of her pictures were so cute, I just couldn't decide which one to use, so I put them all here!!

Newest members of my English Bulldogs

The little girl standing is one of Dixie's puppies. Her name is JT's Melanie Wilkes and I will call her "Mellie". Isn't she cute? She was born on the 8th of November.

The little girl lying down is one of Lia's puppies. She was born on the 25th of November. Her name is Oh Susannah and I am going to call her "Susie".

Steve's Deer Season

Steve has had a good year this year. He killed a 7 pt in Illinois with a bow, a 6 pt and a doe with his rifle here at home. Some of you will like these pictures. I forgot the picture of his doe is on his phone.

Last day of vacation continued

I continued on to Southaven, MS to visit my beautiful nieces. Unfortunately, I had to cut my visit short and didn't get to see my nephews. These are my sister's beautiful children and grandchildren who I love dearly. I haven't seen them in over a year and it had been some time since I had gotten to just sit and visit. My sister is so truly blessed with children who love her and stand beside her in all things. I love all these beautiful girls as if they were my own. My sister, Judy and I have a beautiful relationship. We are not just sisters, we are best friends. If I do nothing else, I have made myself this promise, to do my best and not let so much time pass before I can do this again. Life is just to short to be away for those you love.

Last day of my vacation

As I was traveling back to Oklahoma, I decided to make a quick stop in Covington, TN to see aunts, uncles, and cousins that I haven't seen in approximately 10 years. I went to my Aunt Nette's house and my cousin, Nancy, fixed a big pot of Taco Soup. Boy was that yummy. Aunt Nette had a cherry cheese cake for dessert. As you can tell, I sure needed all of that. It was such a wonderful visit. I got to see Uncle Coy and Uncle Haskin. My cousins Paul, Allan, Nancy, Kate, Ella & Lucy. Precious sweet Kate, wanted a picture with her Aunt Jill. She is such a beautiful woman. I read her blog and she inspires me with her words. She writes so beautifully and I hope someday she will write us a book. Kate, you have a beautiful heart. Paul and Nancy, you have raised a most wonderful daughter. Ya'll are truly blessed.

What a wonderful vacation!!

Wow, I finally got to leave my home and actually travel somewhere and guess what I did it all by myself!!! I first traveled to Clarksville, TN to see my beautiful, wonderful, sweet sister. I just love her so much. It had been two years since we had been able to be with one another. I left on a Friday morning and didn't leave until Tuesday coming back home. Believe me, I sure could have stayed longer. Thanks sis, for making me feel so at home. Oh yea, thanks to Mike, for putting up with all those days. I love him lots, too. He's my favorite brother-in-law.

Well, I know I haven't updated my blog for awhile, but as in the life of Jill, it's always something! First, my computer crashed and I lost all my pictures, then my internet was down for over a week due to a malfunction in the wiring. It took the people forever to find the problem. Needless to say, I was about to come unglued!!! I know ya'll can't imagine that happening to me.

A new puppy

Hey, Kristen' s English Bulldog Belle had puppies on the 13th of September and I got to get one. I named her Memphis Tiger Lily. Ain't that cute????

Ya'll make sure you check out my kennel website also. I have changed it alot and I have bought some new puppies. I bought a male English Bulldog and named him Rhett Butler. I also purchased two poodles. One is a red miniature named Frederick Flame, we call him Freddy. The other one is a cream Standard Poodle and is name is Ollie Bobba. Of course we call him Ollie!! Well that will be all for now. Oops, sorry, I have one more for Judy.

To me this is such a beautiful image of the innocence of a baby. Holding on to the hand they know will take care of them. This is Adisyn holding on to her Poppy's hand. This just really touched my heart.

This chunky monkey is not fat he is just big. He is drinking an 8 ounce bottle at each feeding with cereal in each one. I don't know how much formula they go through, but all he does is eat, sleep and poop!!!!

Sure don't get to see enough of this big chunk, but when I do, I sure like to take pictures. He weighs almost as much as Adisyn at 3 months old. He weighs 16 lbs and Addie weighs 20!
