From December to now.....46lbs!!!!!!!!!! woo-hoo!!!!!!!!!

Tallen got to spend the night with me tonight. He is 9 months old and weighs 27 lbs.

Weenie Roast

Karlee and Austin are out of school this week for their winter break, so of course they wanted to stay with Meme and Poppy. Poppy decided to have a weenie roast with them so here are some pictures. The kids were really excited about this. They have a really good Poppy.

Kristen & Adisyn

The picture of Kristen was taken May 17, 1984 just before her 3rd birthday. Kristen's eyes do not show up as well in the scanned picture, but they both have those beautiful blue eyes.

Poppy and his Weasel

Steve has called Karlee his Weasel since the day she was born. When she was in Pre K and they were learning there letters, she had to take something that started with that letter. Well, when it came to the W, she took a picture of her dad, because his name is Wes. When she came home that afternoon and Kristen and her kids were eating supper with us, we began to discuss the letter W. Poppy told Karlee that weasel started with a W. She turned and looked at her Poppy real funny and said no it doesn't, my name starts with a K.

This is all the mean eyes my grandkids gave me. This came up because I got on to Adisyn for something and she gave me her mean eyes. She really cooperated well showing me them again. Well, of course the other two had to show me theirs and I had to get their pictures.

Weekend with Karlee, Austin & Adisyn

My grandkids are all so different as you can see. Austin just being his very handsome self, Karlee was hunting for me and killed a turkey, some squirrels and a deer. She also cooked the turkey on a smoker, made squirrel soup and then a deer roast, Adisyn being sophiscated like her Meme.

Look at what my Daddy's done now. Can you believe at his age, he finally started killing deer! The only thing, he just needs to change the weapon he uses.

Tallen is wearing a 24 month sleeper! He is just 6 1/2 months old. He and Adisyn are wearing the same size and she is 2!!!!!

This big boy, Poppy has nicknamed Hoss. I do believe this suits him!!!

Christmas

Oh the joys of Christmas! It is wonderful watching my grandchildren open presents. Here are just a few that I would like to share. Dillin couldn't be with us. He had to work. We were not able to have Christmas until the 28th, because Daddy was in the hospital.

Kristen & Family Christmas Pictures

Okay, just so you will know all their names. Rusty, Kristen, Dillin, Desirae, Karlee, Austin & Adisyn. I now have seven grandchildren instead of 5. Man, my family has really expanded. I know there are several of Adisyn, but this is the first time she has ever had a professional picture taken. She is the only one who had an individual picture done. She is so cute and all of her pictures were so cute, I just couldn't decide which one to use, so I put them all here!!

The little girl standing is one of Dixie's puppies. Her name is JT's Melanie Wilkes and I will call her "Mellie". Isn't she cute? She was born on the 8th of November.

The little girl lying down is one of Lia's puppies. She was born on the 25th of November. Her name is Oh Susannah and I am going to call her "Susie".
